Examination and Desk Copy Policy

College and University faculty may request examination copies of books for consideration as course texts. Please limit your requests to four books per year. Examination copies must be purchased at full price and payments made in advance by credit card, check or money order. Shipping and handling is free of charge. If the book is adopted as a course text for use in class and an order for 10 or more copies is placed within 90 days, the price for the examination copy will be refunded and the book may serve as desk copy. In case the book will not be adopted for course use and it is still in a saleable condition, it may be returned to us, also within 90 days, and the price for the book will be refunded as well.

Complimentary desk copies are available for instructors who adopt a title for use in class. One desk copy is available for every 10 copies of each title ordered. Shipping and handling of the desk copy is free of charge. Requests for desk copies should include the name of the bookstore and the date when the order was placed.
